Your journey begins as you board your air conditioned motorcoach and drive to the Akatsuka Orchid Garden. Here, you'll transfer to a smaller minibus for the continued journey to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to view its major sights.

This dazzling stretch of black sand is actually made of both black lava as well as what is called green sand. The green sand is actually olivine crystals and is striking against the bright blue waters.

Your journey begins as you board your air-conditioned motorcoach for Akaka Falls. Travel north from Hilo along the scenic coastline, passing large farms and old sugar cane fields, en route to Akaka Falls. Upon arrival, take in the breathtaking falls that plunge 442 feet over a volcanic ledge, framed by lush rainforest. A one-mile circular stepped-path leads through the forest to the falls.
