And since the bar’s open from the evening until late at night, it’s the perfect spot for an early drink or singing ‘til the wee hours.

Get up and get down at the most happenin’ club in the Caribbean. Our DJs are spinning today’s hottest hits and yesterday’s retro jams, guaranteed to get you out of your seat and tapping your feet. (Hey, that rhymed!) Whether you’re doing the robot or the worm or just swaying to the music, you’ll want to dance ‘til the sun rises. Or at least ‘til last call. (Some people are born with all the right moves, but the rest of us need a little instruction to smooth the sharp edges off of ours. That’s why you’ll find a host of free dance classes that sail along with you!)

The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Together with their group they’ll enjoy tons of fun-filled, age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, songs, games, toys, dancing, movies and video games. When it’s mealtime, kids eat together and get their own menus with back-on-land faves like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and more. The whole time, our experienced counselors will be there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. Plus, when the sun goes down it’s Night Owls time — fees apply, but kids get to stay up late having fun while their parents also enjoy themselves well into the night.

Cruises are great for relaxing… unless you’re a kid! Since kids have virtually unlimited energy — and you know they definitely bring it with them on vacation — your Carnival cruise will get your kids moving and developing with Zumbini®, created by Zumba® & BabyFirst™. On every sailing, kids 2–5 years old will enjoy a free 30-minute Zumbini class that brings together the same musical fun that families love on land. The class features Zumbini songs, activities, special instruments and more, all in the name of movement. And on sailings six days or longer, we’ll be hosting a Family Zumbini class where parents can join their kids and our youth staff for guided activities focusing on parent-child bonding… and, of course, fun!

When kids visit the Build-A-Bear Workshop At Sea® , they use their little hands and big creativity to bring a new stuffed friend to life. They can customize their furry friend from head to toe by choosing the bear, clothing and accessories. The cuddly bears are actually just the beginning — these stuffed friends come in all shapes, like a dog, bunny, shark, The Cat in the Hat… even a bear with a special Carnival-exclusive design! To kids, arts and crafts is a fun way to spend an afternoon. Camp Ocean® presents plenty of creative opportunities for budding Picassos to master Monets, and kids can express themselves with all kinds of crafts from painting to jewelry-making. You know, future living-room-museum pieces.

They may be made out of flat towels, but there’s nothing two-dimensional about the performances at Towel Animal Theater on your Carnival cruise. They’re rolled, folded and brought to life by the same masters of the craft that leave the cute little guys nightly in your stateroom… except these especially-absorbent stars get on stage and put on a show for adoring fans, young and old. Experience the Tracy Arm Wilderness area, including exciting close-up views of the majestic Sawyer Glaciers.  As the ship enters Tracy Arm, she will glide to a brief stop to allow you to board a deluxe, waterjet-powered catamaran, designed for optimum viewing and delicate maneuvering.  Bring your camera to capture the many wonders you'll discover around each bend of this serpentine, 30-mile fjord.  The onboard naturalist will inform you about the area as you trace the bases of cliffs that rise 4,000 feet above the bay.  Enjoy an up-close view of the North Sawyer Glacier with frequent stops to view wildlife, and hear the "white thunder" as immense ice spires break from the South Sawyer Glacier and crash into the bay.

Start your journey, departing the port in a fast boat towards the forts of San José and San Fernando de Bocachica, located by the outermost bay of Cartagena.  These two forts were built in the XVIII Century  to prevent the passage of the enemy ships which would try to attack the city.   Then head towards the second two forts guarding the innermost city,  Santa Cruz de Castillogrande and San Juan de Manzanillo. After passing this second set of forts, you’ll find the bay of Cartagena.

Colombia has the greatest diversity of bird life in the world, with more than 1,900 species, and the National Aviary displays many of its most important species in the eco-park's 17 acres. The facility, created for the study and conservation of myriad bird species, has more than 20 separate exhibits and an artificial lake to which hundreds of migratory birds gravitate. Sit back as you depart on a 45-minute motor coach ride and take in the panoramic views of the city of Cartagena, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll continue into the lush countryside, en route to the National Aviary, located on the enchanting island of Baru, Colombia's newest tourist development area. If you have a pair of binoculars with you, this would be the day to use them!

Your party begins when you step aboard your Chiva, a hand-painted, old wooden artisan bus. These buses are used in rural areas for public transport; they are colorfully painted with local arabesques and figures. Enjoy non-stop ‘papayera’ or ‘vallenato’ (local music), complimentary drinks and learn about the interesting history and traditions of Cartagena. Laugh, clap, sing and listen to jokes, as your Chiva takes you around the charming streets of Cartagena.

You'll get a taste of Cartagena's diverse history and culture on this easy half-day tour to the Caribbean School of Jewelry. Your friendly local guides will fill you in on the passing sights with expert narration and you'll arrive at the Caribbean School of Jewelry, approved by the Colombian Education Ministry, for a unique learning experience. The instructors will provide you with a work space and all the tools you need to learn how to create jewelry utilizing .925 sterling silver and emeralds.

Board the air conditioned bus at the pier and prepare to travel to Getsemani, well known for its historic center and artist and crafts. After a short walk you will arrive at Hotel Armeria Real. Here you’ll learn how to make coconut lemonade, a drink that Cartagena is well known for. Savor the moment as you get to sample its refreshing taste and admire a fantastic view of the San Felipe Fortress. After this relaxing stop, you’ll be transported to the Old Town where you will venture off into the Old City with your tour guide. Explore some of the most important places on this World Heritage City by making a stop at the Modern Art Museum. Your next stop will be Las Bóvedas, once dungeons, now home to boutiques and tourist shops. After this quick shopping spree and a short bus ride, you’ll enjoy one last walk at the Plaza Bolivar and San Pedro before returning to the Ship.

Explore the city of Cartagena with a reputation as impenetrable after the construction of its impressive fortresses. Departing from the pier, pass through the famous Republican architecture of Manga residential area, home to some of the most ornate mansions and beautifully sculpted homes of the city. Wander through the tranquil grounds, explore the onsite museum, and see the majestic Virgin of Candelaria statue, celebrating Cartagena’s patron saint. Visit the Historic Museum of Cartagena also known as the Inquisition Palace, located on Plaza Bolivar. Continue your journey to the largest and most important work of Spanish Military engineering in South America - Fort of San Felipe de Barajas. Venture inside the  fort and explore the age-old grounds. Make your way  to Las Bovedas, built in the late18th century as dungeons and as a means of storage, now home to handcraft boutiques and stores. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets and city squares inside the walled city and visit the majestic San Pedro Claver Church, built in the 17th century, to honor the missionary Saint Peter Claver, the patron saint of slaves.

Start your journey of history, with a photo stop at San Felipe Fortress, the largest  work of Spanish Military engineering in South America.  Continue to take a panoramic look of Rafael Nuñez House, poet, writer and four-time president of Colombia. Las Bovedas Artisan Center is next, built  as dungeons and as a means of storage, today local artisans display their work there. Walking through El Torno Street you will get to San Diego Square, where the Sofitel Santa Clara Hotel is placed, restored Clarissan Nunnery built in 1621, is full of history and today one of the best hotels in Cartagena. Then, visit the nearby  Fernandez Madrid Plaza, church of Santo Toribio and see some of the areas restored houses. Continue on a 15-minute drive to the famed walled city and marvel at the plethora of colonial buildings and age-old fortifications around every corner.  Make your way to the modern residential area known as Bocagrande, home to vast array of hotels, shops, eateries, night clubs and art galleries  to find Colombia’s famous native gem —the emerald—  at Pierino Gallo Shopping Mall for a 45 min. visit.

Today’s journey starts in the Residential area of Manga, home to some of the most ornate mansions and beautifully sculpted homes in the city. Stop for a photo at the largest Spanish fort in the New World—the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, originally built in the 17th century followed by a visit to the walled city featuring a plethora of colonial buildings and age-old fortifications around every corner. Take a 15 -minute drive to Rafael Nuñez House & Museum, house where lived the four-time President of Colombia Rafael Nuñez, it is Antillas construction where you can enjoy folkloric show. End your day with a final opportunity to shop for handicrafts at las Bovedas artisans market before a panoramic drive through the modern residential areas of Bocagrande and Castillo Grande, famous for its wide variety of shops, restaurants and hotels, enroute to the ship.

Embark on a short drive to the military fort of San Felipe Fortress to enjoy a panoramic photo stop. Afterwards, you’ll continue to the old town, las Bovedas (Dungeons) where you’ll join your horse and carriage. As you trundle through the narrow cobbled streets of the old walled city, look out for the colonial houses, the Heredia Theatre, the City Hall and the Inquisition Palace at Bolivar Square. You can also admire the charming balconies, old squares and Spanish style buildings. Following your carriage ride, you’ll rejoin your coach to enjoy a panoramic drive of modern Cartagena, before returning to the ship.
